30th Annual Lake Tahoe Marathon
The 30th annual Lake Tahoe Marathon will be held from October 17-19, 2025, at locations around the lake. This three-day event is much more than a marathon; it is an experience full of boutique races from a kids’ Pumpkin Run to a 72-mile Midnight Express race.
Friday – The Lakeside Marathon and the spectacular all downhill Nevada Half Marathon.
Saturday – The Cal-Neva Marathon, the Incline (Village)Half Marathon, the 72-Mile Midnight Express.
Sunday – The Lake Tahoe Marathon, the 4-person Marathon Relay, the spectacular downhill Emerald Bay Half Marathon, the Midnight Express 72-Relay around the lake, the 4-Person Marathon Relay, the Tahoe 10K, the Super Hero 5K, as well as the Kids Free Pumpkin Run.

A downhill dash with a spooky twist!
- Route: Dollar Hill to Commons Beach
- Cause: Benefits the North Tahoe Cross Country Team, who will also be staffing most Saturday and Many Sunday aid stations.
- Entry: Donation-based — give what you can!
- Fun Factor: Costumes encouraged, and if you’re dressed up, you’ll get a one-minute head start.
- Bring your spookiest, funniest, or most creative costume and be part of a very spirited 5K!
