There are moments when making a real difference is surprisingly simple. This is one of them.
On Thursday, May 28th, our local heroes at the North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection District are partnering with Vitalant to host a community blood drive right here in Incline Village. It is a small act of time that can have an immeasurable impact.
The need for blood donations never slows down. From emergency response situations to ongoing medical treatments, patients rely on a steady supply every single day. In a mountain community like ours, where we look out for one another, showing up matters.

- Thursday, May 28th
- 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM
- Station 11 at 875 Tanager Street, Incline Village
Whether you are a first-time donor or someone who gives regularly, this is an opportunity to directly support people in need, many of whom we will never meet but whose lives may be changed because of it.
The process is straightforward, and appointments help ensure everything runs smoothly. Simply scan the QR code on the event flyer to reserve your time. If you have been thinking about donating, consider this your sign.

In a place defined by community, generosity, and care, this is one of the most meaningful ways to give back. A single donation can help multiple patients. It is one of the rare opportunities where an hour of your day can quite literally save a life.
If you are able, mark your calendar and take part. And if donating is not an option right now, sharing the event with friends, neighbors, or your network is another powerful way to help.
