After several months of anticipation, Glasses Wine Bar in Incline Village has officially reopened under new ownership.

The wine bar temporarily closed on September 27th when longtime owners Rob and Kathleen Martens retired and set off for new adventures overseas. For many locals, the closure marked the end of an era for one of the community’s favorite small gathering spaces.

Now, a new chapter begins.

Local residents Mike Walker and Jeff Peterson, community members with roots in the Napa Valley wine world, reopened Glasses Wine Bar on February 4th after completing thoughtful renovations to the space. Their goal was simple: preserve what people loved while elevating the experience.

The refreshed interior brings a sense of warmth and comfort, creating an inviting setting for conversation, connection, and community. Alongside the updated atmosphere, Mike and Jeff have expanded both the wine selection and food offerings, giving guests more ways to enjoy the space.

Glasses Wine Bar continues to serve as a welcoming gathering place for residents and visitors alike, something increasingly important as small, locally owned businesses help define the character of Incline Village.

Supporting local businesses like this one helps sustain the vibrant, connected community that makes North Lake Tahoe special.

Glasses Wine Bar is located at:
760 Mays Blvd., Suite 8, Incline Village, NV (Village Center at Southwood & Mays)
