Incline High School’s football team saw its remarkable ten-game winning streak come to an end on Saturday in a hard-fought playoff matchup against the Pershing County Mustangs. The Highlanders, who had remained unbeaten throughout the season, fell short with a 26-6 loss.

The game, held at Pershing County’s home field, showcased two powerhouse teams battling for supremacy. Despite their best efforts, Incline struggled to break through the Mustangs’ formidable defense. The loss marks Incline’s first of the season, leaving them with an impressive 10-1 record.

For Pershing County, the victory extended their dominance at home to an incredible 15 straight wins, a streak dating back to last season. Their unblemished record now stands at 12-0.

With no future games currently scheduled for either team, the season ends with both squads having much to be proud of.
