Incline Middle School (IMS) students are gaining valuable real-world experience through the school’s Exploratory Program, developed by the Incline Education Fund under the STEP Up for STE(A)M initiative. The program empowers young minds by offering hands-on learning across four categories: College/Career Readiness, Physical Sciences, Environmental and Technological Sciences, and the Arts.
A recent highlight was the introduction of a Financial Literacy class, where students mastered essential money skills like budgeting and investing. Their simulated stock picks, including Nvidia, earned impressive gains, which they voted to “donate back” to fund future Exploratory initiatives. Field trips to local businesses such as IVGID, US Bank, and Azzara’s enriched their learning with real-world career insights.
