After months of anticipation, fireworks are officially returning to Incline Village and Crystal Bay this Fourth of July.
Tahoe Fireworks, a nonprofit organization based in Incline Village, has announced that a professionally produced fireworks display will celebrate America’s 250th birthday on Saturday, July 4th, continuing a tradition that has been part of the community for generations.
The 2026 celebration will not feature a centralized public viewing event. Instead, the fireworks will be launched from Lake Tahoe east of Incline Beach and are expected to be visible from many locations throughout Incline Village, Crystal Bay, and the North Shore.
The display is funded entirely through the generosity of local donors and supporters and is being coordinated by licensed professionals under the required local, regional, state, and federal permits.
Important Safety Information
To support the safe operation of the fireworks platform, a buoy-marked safety zone will be established around the launch barge beginning July 1st and will remain in place through the morning of July 5th.
No boats, paddleboards, kayaks, personal watercraft, or other flotation devices may enter the restricted area. During the fireworks display, the safety zone will be actively enforced.
Visitors should also expect increased traffic on both Lake Tahoe and local roadways throughout the holiday weekend.
