The National Weather Service has advised of a cold front that will swing through the region Monday. It will bring mainly gusty winds and a few inches of snow possible for Sierra passes, which could create slow downs across our main highways.
After a brief lull mid-week, focus then turns to the potential for a major winter storm from Thursday – Sunday. Impressive signals for very heavy snowfall at all elevations across the Sierra with snowfall even down to valley floors of western NV.
Keep an eye on the forecast this week and prepare for significant weather impacts later this week. Here are the local forecast pages for Incline Village, Reno, and Carson City.
