IVGID Tax Bills Incorrect Due to Billing Error: What You Need to Know

Residents of Incline Village will notice discrepancies in their tax bills this week due to an error in the billing files sent to the Washoe County Treasurer’s Office by the Incline Village General Improvement District (IVGID).

The error involves the transposition of two fees: a beach fee of $720 and a recreation fee of $655. As a result, most IVGID residents will see incorrect fee amounts on their tax bills, although the total taxes due should remain accurate. Around 550 customers, who are billed for only one of these fees, may experience an increase in the amount billed.

The Treasurer’s Office will be issuing corrected tax bills to all affected residents. Any necessary adjustments will be reflected in the next billing cycle, and some customers may either receive a credit or see an additional charge. For further details or assistance, visit the Washoe County website (here) or contact the district at 775-832-1100.
