JROTC Cadets Receive Honors

Congrats to the four Cadets from the The Highlander Battalion, Incline High School’s JROTC program, who received the prestigious Washoe County Sheriff’s Office Sheriff’s Award.

In attendance on behalf of Sheriff Balaam was Incline Village Sergeant McCaskill, who presented the awards to the honorees.

The mission of the JROTC program is to motivate young people to be citizens of character by instilling in them a sense of personal responsibility, accomplishment and the importance of serving their nation and community. JROTC provides classroom learning, physical and mentally challenging team competitions and fun experiential learning activities to prepare students for success during high school and after graduation.
