The Incline Village Crystal Bay Association (IVCBA) has meticulously crafted a calendar of events that promise to delight all ages and interests, ensuring a memorable celebration in our picturesque mountain town.
Kickoff with a Flag Raising and Pancakes
The celebrations will commence with a dignified flag-raising ceremony by the North Lake Tahoe Fire Protection Department. This patriotic gesture sets a respectful tone for the weekend’s festivities. Following the ceremony, head over to the community grill for a breakfast of free pancakes and coffee, a beloved tradition that brings together neighbors and friends in a festive atmosphere.
Parades and Family Fun
Once you’ve had your fill, the excitement continues just down the street with the Kid’s Bike Parade and the Local Heroes Parade. Watch as children joyfully pedal their decorated bikes, followed by a procession of our community’s heroes. These parades are not just a visual treat but also a heartfelt tribute to the spirit of Incline Village.
Post-parade, the Village Green transforms into a hub of fun with carnival games, informational booths, and freebies from various nonprofits, businesses, and service clubs. It’s a wonderful opportunity to engage with local organizations and enjoy the festive atmosphere.

Savoring BBQ and More
After the parades, continue the culinary celebrations with The Backyard BBQ fundraiser for Highlander Pride on the Village Green. This event offers a mouth-watering selection of barbecue delights that are perfect for a summer afternoon. Later, head over to ITF’s SUMMERFEST, where more tasty treats and drinks await, ensuring you stay refreshed and satisfied throughout the day.
Honoring Our Veterans
A significant highlight of the weekend is the veterans recognition reception. This event pays tribute to our veterans and active-duty personnel, acknowledging their sacrifices and service. The community will gather to honor these individuals, making it a poignant moment amidst the celebrations. Following the reception, the Tahoe Symphony Orchestra & Chorus will perform a tribute to America, providing an evening of stirring music and patriotic spirit.
Fireworks Spectacular
As dusk falls, prepare for a stunning fireworks display over Lake Tahoe. This year, the Red, White, and Tahoe Blue II crew promises a spectacular show, reducing the number of drones in favor of a more traditional, awe-inspiring fireworks display that will light up the night sky and create lasting memories for all.
