In a surprising turn of events, Bobby Magee has resigned as the IVGID General Manager just three months after his appointment. (Press release announcing his hire)
The resignation follows contentious budget meetings, highlighting a strained relationship with the Board of Trustees. Notably, the Board has yet to confirm Magee’s resignation through official channels, leaving the community in anticipation of further details.
Magee’s contract stipulates a 120-day notice period, and residents are keen to understand the terms of his departure. The next IVGID Board of Trustees meeting on June 12, 2024, may provide some clarity, though the resignation notice is not currently on the agenda.
