Appeal Filed on the Petitions to Recall IVGID Trustees Matthew Dent and Sara Schmitz

There were several questions surrounding the signature verification process performed by Washoe County, the inconsistencies of various codes that were used to reject signatures, and the opportunity for voters to cure their signatures to ensure they would be counted.

The Recall Was Successful, Mostly

Each petition required a minimum of 1,801 valid signatures in order to move this to a recall election, so the the signature verification missed the mark by 75 votes and 114 votes, respectfully. A very close call.
